Company History

The Company was founded originally initially as David Perman Associates in 1982, a part-time practice, serving a number of local building contractors by producing detailed plans, specifications, structural designs and advice for Building Regulation Approval and Planning Applications.

From mid 1989 to mid 1997, the practice worked in close association with Aspen Associates on a number of projects.

In the autumn of 1997 D.M. Perman Associates Ltd was formed, the practice winning its first major contract with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

The change of name to Shirehall Consultants Ltd in 1999 was, as it suggests, reflecting the consultancy's main core business, as an engineering consultancy dedicated to the servicing requirements of local Authorities.

Shirehall Consultants Ltd now has a wide expanding base of clients including Local Authorities, Utilities, Consultants, Developers and Individuals.
